It’s been a few years since I visited London’s Design Museum for its excellent exhibition about film-making icon Stanley Kubrick. Rooms dedicated to each of his films were crammed with props and other items from the production, all from Kubrick’s carefully curated personal collection.
The museum has just announced that next year it will host a similar exhibition with Wes Anderson’s films as its subject.
Through a curated collection of original props, costumes, and behind-the-scenes insights, including from his personal collection, this exhibition offers an unprecedented look into the world of Wes Anderson, celebrating his enduring influence on contemporary cinema.
Sounds sensational. Tickets don’t go on sale until next year are there are no further details. Until then, you can console yourself with the next exhibition in what seems to be becoming a series. Next month an exhibition featuring the work of Tim Burton opens.
